A new report claims that Sony Pictures will send an updated version of Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse to theaters, as there have been various complaints from the public about the sound of the animated film.

The Twitter account commented as follows: “A new version of crossing the multiverse with an improved sound mix will hit theaters this Friday.” Cryptic HD QUALITY is an account that shares reports on 4K content, and movie and series runtimes.
In another tweet, the account clarifies that “theaters have received emails indicating that the new digital cinema packages will ship on Friday.” They also say that this “doesn’t mean all theaters will have it right away, so you can still wait an additional 2-3 days.”
