But not all of the ones we see in Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse have their origin in the Marvel comics. The movie included a cool animation scene with LEGO which is, in itself, somewhat meta because of the role of its main producers, Phil Lord y Chris Milleras directors of The LEGO Movie.
The 2014 film has inspired many to make alternate versions of trailers and/or movie scenes in LEGO version. One of them was Preston Mutangaa 14-year-old boy who stumbled upon a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

As reported by The New York Times, Preston Mutanga shared his LEGO version of the Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse trailer on social networks. It was so bizarre that he entered Miller and Lord’s radar.
The producers already had in mind to include a LEGO-style animated scene in the film of Miles Morales, so Preston Mutanga’s work made them go further and signed him, with his parents’ permission, to take care of her. The young man worked on the scene after finishing his school homework.
“I know Preston has a gift that God gave him, and once we realized he had that gift, all we could do as parents was feed him and let him fly,” says Gisele Mutanga, young Preston’s mother.
“The idea in the Spider-Verse is that a hero can come from anywhere. And here comes this heroic young man who is inspired by the movie that was inspired by people like him.”, Phil Lord pointed out, alluding to how The LEGO Movie is based on the imagination of the millions of people who create and build with the sets of pieces from the Danish manufacturer.
Certainly, the origin of the LEGO scene of Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse is the most inspiring for all those artists who do not dare to share their creations. You never know where the opportunity to stand out is waiting for you.
