Andrei Lankov, a professor at Kookmin University in Seoul, said Kim Jong-un had a very simple wish: to die a natural death in his palace decades later. “But, He wants to stay in power,” he said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
That’s what makes Jong-un face heavy pressure. “He (Jong-un) understands… if he loses his power, he may soon lose his life and everyone he loves,” Lankov said. Lankov added, Jong-un protects his life, not his lifestyle.
2. Always Wanted to Be Treated like a Prince
Anna Fifield, a North Korea expert, told the Telegraph that Kim Jong-un had an abnormal childhood. Jong-un deals with a dysfunctional family dynamic.
“From a very early age, Jong-un was treated like a prince,” said Fifield. “Treated Jong-un even in a way that not even the British Royal family would,” he added.
3. Likes to Cry Alone
Choi Jinwook, a Seoul-based expert on North Korea, said the North Korean leader faces new concerns over his personal health and safety as he approaches 40 years of age.
“I heard Jong-un was crying,” Jinwook said, according to the Daily Star.
It is not clear why Jong-un likes to cry alone. However, Jinwook revealed Jong-un was very lonely and depressed.

It was reported that Jong-un was very concerned about his health. He did not want his health condition to be known by his enemies.
