The world is electrifying at a rapid pace, whether you like it or not. Just look at the registration figures in our country, where more than 15% of new cars turned out to be purely electric in the past quarter. Within a good decade that should even become 100%, because in 2035 the European Union will firmly restrict the sale of cars with combustion engines. Enough reasons to get acquainted with electric mobility like lightning, and there will be one address for this next weekend.
Electric test drives
The eMobility Day will take place for the first time on Saturday 3 June, an event that will already remove the combustion engine from the menu. Instead, you can get acquainted with the pure electric cars of more than 20 brands — and by getting acquainted, we really mean getting acquainted. This gives you the chance to test the EVs yourself during a ride that takes less than fifteen minutes, and for that you get the choice of models from Tesla, Polestar, Kia, Renault, Peugeot, Opel and Hyundai, among others. However, many newer manufacturers for our market are also present, such as Silence with its range of microcars or Maxus, which is even opening its Mifa 9 and T90 pick-up for public test drives for the first time.
The eMobility Day does not only put King Auto in the spotlight, because there is also a lot else to discover. This starts with electric vans, but also includes electric motorcycles such as those of the Zero brand or even electric bicycles. Moreover, all kinds of companies that offer charging infrastructure are also present, and there is actually a stand of energy giant Q8 to share their vision on electric mobility. In other words, you don’t go home until you know what to expect from an electrified future.
The eMobility Day opens its doors on Saturday 3 June from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm in the Oktoberhallen in Wieze. Admission is completely free, although the organization recommends that you register in advance via the website. Then you can bypass the queue and be the first on the track with that Tesla.
