We’ve already shown you a video where three thieves stole an Africa Twin in just 38 seconds, but this time we’re moving a few thousand kilometres. In fact, the video comes from United Kingdom, where crime is growing and above all two-wheeler thefts are on the rise.
A video recorded by a home security camera was published on social media. You can clearly see the thieves at work: the first takes care of transporting the “colleague’s” bicycle – tasked with forcing the steering lock with the force of his leg – one acts as a “pole” and another helps the one who pushes on the handlebar with his leg. The steering lock gives way against the force of the two thieves. 5 are the seconds used to break the steering lock mechanism and only 25 seconds after the two thieves touch the parked BMW, the bike has already disappeared from the shot.
These thieves steal bikes just for fun, and then burn them in some abandoned field. A simple disc lock for a few euros would therefore have been enough to save one’s adventure companion. Be careful!
