The new Suzuki GSX-8S 2023 And a bike that shares the technical base with its sister V-Strom 800 DE, with the new 776 cc parallel twin-cylinder and diamond-shaped frame in steel tubes, but is characterized by a more street-oriented nature and a sporty naked look .
The engine is a completely new project: a 776 cc parallel twin with crankshaft at 270° and has the Suzuki Cross Balancer, a balancing system with two countershafts (one for each piston), which aims to eliminate vibrations and create a more compact crankcase; delivers a maximum power of 82.9 HP at 8,500 rpm. and has a peak torque of 78Nm at 6,800rpm. It is liquid-cooled and has distribution with double overhead camshaft and a 2-into-1 type exhaust system. In addition, there is an assisted clutch, electronic up/down shifting and the start assist function.
At the cycling level we find a diamond frame in steel tubes, with aluminum swingarm. The front part of the frame is the same as its sister V-Strom 800 DE, the rear frame changes, here shorter and more compact. The frame is combined with KYB suspensions: upside-down fork (non-adjustable, with 130 mm of travel) and preload-adjustable monoshock. The rims are both 17″ with sizes 120/70 and 180/55. The tank is 14 litres; the saddle is at a height of 810 mm from the ground e the curb weight is 202 kg. The standard equipment also includes LED headlights, Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist.
