A few hours ago we told you about the possible strike that would take place in the LCS, the main professional League of Legends league in North America, after the LCSPA (LCS Players Association) voted in favor of it. All this due to a decision by Riot Games, who eliminated the requirement to have a roster in the NACL, league in development for the LCS, to the main teams, leaving a large number of players without jobs.
A vote that has been supported by a large number of professional players, but has also encountered criticism from some others, such as the popular Tyler1, who stated that “there is no talent in NA” and that many of the players who spent time in the Academy , now known as the NACL, were “check thieves” who were stealing money from organizations.

Tyler1, speaking in favor of the team owners and Riot’s decision, said: “If we’re being honest, there hasn’t been any talent in NA for years, why are we getting mad now? Finally, we’re going to stop losing money because we don’t have any talent in NA anyway.
“People say: ‘Oh, we need teams to have talent in NA’. There is no talent in NA! Nobody was being promoted, anyway,” says the player and streamer.
In addition, he indicated that nobody watched the NACL games and that even many of the professional players who had difficult seasons could drop the league, in order to continue charging for playing there. Something that Tyler1 called a “safety cushion”, since many players who were hired for a Challengers team saw it as an achievement and for this reason, they stopped trying because according to him, there is a “lack of passion” in many of them.
In closing, he said that for all this, he completely agreed with the decision of the teams and Riot, stating that the teams have probably “saved millions” by convincing the company behind League of Legends, after they removed the requirement to have a NACL team.
