Sinterklaas had to pull a big sprint in November last year to catch a shoplifter. The man walked out of the Praxis hardware store in Almelo with two Makita suitcases full of tools, for which he had not paid. When the alarm went off, Sinterklaas gave chase. With success: the thief was caught and must go to prison for this and other thefts for twenty months, the Overijssel court ruled today.
