The plot of The Kabul Unit takes place in the middle of the Afghan conflict, where several agents of this elite unit of the National Police specialized in jihadist terrorism embark on a new mission a few days before Kabul is taken over by the Taliban and Spain begins the evacuation of civilians and collaborators.
The objective of the agents is to meet with an infiltrator who has information about a possible attack in Europe. However, they are surprised by clashes between mujahideen, Taliban and ISIS K forces and end up involved in a dangerous situation..
The cast of La unidad Kabul is once again headed by the actors Nathalie Pose (Honeymoon, Rosa’s wedding, Stories not to sleep), Marian Alvarez (Once upon a time in Euskadi, Sara’s notebook, When angels sleep) and Michel Noher (If I had known, A man of action, One hundred days to fall in love).
The Movistar Plus+ series has become one of the most successful Spanish productions on recent televisionwhose second season has been the winner of two TV Academy Iris Awards in the categories of Best Fiction and Best Direction.
