One of Nintendo’s most beloved presidents was undoubtedly Satoru Iwata, who passed away in 2015 due to health problems. Almost 8 years have passed since then and a new book has just been released that wants to talk about the life of the Japanese and everything he achieved leading the company.
These would be some of the illustrations in the book
As you surely know, there is currently Ask Iwata, a compilation of the words and thoughts of the CEO of Nintendo from 2002 to 2015, which was originally published by Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun and is now accessible to everyone.
Now, a new book could be published very soon if it gets the required support in a Kickstarter campaign. We are referring to The Impact of Iwata, which seeks to publicize everything that Iwata did for Nintendo and the industry in general.

As you could see, the person in charge of this project is Nintendo Force, a magazine that follows in the footsteps of Nintendo Power and that wants to get the necessary funds so that its hardcover book on Satoru Iwata becomes a reality.
According to the information shared, the material will include more than 220 pages written by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Lucas M. Thomas, and will be published by CJK Group’s Sheridan.

It is worth mentioning that at the time of writing this note, the Kickstarter campaign has already reached $23,000 USD (approximately $403,000 MXN) of the $29,000 USD (approximately $513,000 MXN), so everything indicates that the goal will be achieved in the 43 remaining days left of time.
An important point is that the author of this book stated that The Impact of Iwata will cover the entire life and beyond of Iwata, reflecting on the impact that the former Nintendo president had on the industry after his death.
