The theft of 1.1 million dollars by two people has not gone well and the fault that they have been caught is an Apple AirTag.

Despite this, two thieves have not learned they had an AirTag nearby after robbing an armored truck, making off with $1.1 million and going on the run. Yes, the thieves have been captured because an AirTag was hidden among their loot that has led the security forces to the house where they were.
The information coming from WGN9 explains that the situation is completely surreal. The robbery occurred in Chicago when the attackers had the brilliant idea to intercept an armored truck to seize the loot that was inside it, consisting of this loot for ten balls of $50,000 and seven balls of $100,000.
The loot amounted to 1.1 million dollars, although they did not count on the fact that they also took something else: an AirTag. This device from Apple was hidden in one of the bags of money and, logically, it served to encourage the owner of this money from where everything that had been stolen was located.

Knowing the location of the loot, what the owner did was contact the FBI, which was in charge of setting up a team to recover the stolen goods. This team found the house where the two thieves were and managed to fully recover the loot of 1.1 million dollars that had been stolen.
The thieves had hidden it in the basement and on the roof, but when the house was inspected, all the money could be recovered. It is interesting to see that the owner of all this money decided to hide this AirTag device in one of the balls just for the sake of it and, in the end, this ended up helping him to recover what had been stolen.
During the FBI operation no one was injured, fortunately, as can be seen in the video published by the chain, the residents were completely surprised by the situation and, above all, by all the deployment of security forces from United States in an almost random operation.
