23 years after the release of the first Sherina’s Adventure film, finally the Indonesian people can enjoy a sequel to this film that tells about the adventures of two children, Sherina and Sadam.
The adventures of Sherina 2 will certainly be released in theaters on September 28, 2023, as announced on the official Instagram page, @filmpetualangansherina.
“Sherina and Sadam #adventure again in the film Adventures of Sherina 2, showing September 28, 2023 in theaters,” wrote the account.
The account also uploaded a teaser for the film Adventures of Sherina 2 which was produced by Mira Lesmana.

Seen in the teaser, Sherina Munaf and Derby Romero as the main characters are walking down a river in the forest on a wooden boat. They were seen chasing a group of people who were also using a boat.
However, Sadam (Derby Romero) suddenly stops the boat engine and argues with Sherina. Apparently, Sadam didn’t want to be constantly managed by Sherina in that adventure. He also asked Sherina to trust Sadam, who was in charge of controlling the boat engine.
The news of the release of the film Adventures of Sherina 2 was also uploaded by the Instagram account @folkative, and received many comments from netizens who were nostalgic for the first film.
