A few hours after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 opens in theaters around the world, Marvel has already begun giving news about the next big project in the franchise: Secret Invasion. The series starring Samuel L. Jackson incarnating the legendary Nick Fury is getting closer and, as expected, the House of Ideas is already offering very important new news.
After having seen a spectacular trailer a few weeks ago, Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed through an interview with Empire that the series will have a total of 8 chapters in which we will see the head of SHIELD fight against a silent invasion. In addition, the American actor has commented that each chapter will have a duration one hourso it will become the Marvel series with the longest episodes so far.
Jackson also wanted to emphasize that in this series we will see the most human side of Nick Fury, something that we have seen little throughout all these 15 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His role as a no-feeling captain will take a backseat to see Fury’s past and his infighting.
We remind you that Secret Invasion Coming Exclusively to Disney+ Next June 21, 2023. At first it was going to be released in the spring, but after Marvel’s decision to delay the productions to give more care to all of them, it caused a general delay of all the company’s productions.
