Suara.com – Host Cambodia received ‘help’ from the referee when facing the Indonesian National Team. Even though they had been assisted, the hosts still had to bend their knees and fail to reach the semifinals of the 2023 SEA Games.
The Indonesian national team underwent a quite difficult match in the final match of Group A against the 2023 SEA Games hosts, Cambodia, Wednesday (10/5/2023) evening WIB.
In that match, Indra Sjafri’s team had quite a hard time because they played in front of the home fans who packed the stadium.

However, the team nicknamed the Garuda Muda squad still managed to win with a narrow score of 2-1 over Cambodia.

In that match, the U-22 Indonesian National Team scored first through Titan Agung in the 9th minute using a wild ball in the Cambodian penalty box.
After this goal, Cambodia, who appeared determined to win, was able to equalize through Sin Sovannmakara in the 45+1 minute.
The U-22 Indonesian national team then won in the second round, after Beckham Putra was able to score a goal in the 52nd minute and change the scoreboard to 2-1.
The 2-1 score lasted until the game was over, which allowed the U-22 Indonesian national team to qualify as group winners by wiping out all group A matches.
However, in this match against Cambodia, the U-22 Indonesian national team struggled hard enough to win a narrow 2-1 win over the hosts.
