The special “Kage-Jitsu Fes” live streamed this Sunday presented the second promotional video of the second season of the light novel series The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) Of Daisuke Aizawa. The video reveals the anime’s additional season 2 cast members, October premiere, and 12-episode runtime.
The new members of the voice cast consists of:
Tsuyoshi Koyama come Juggernaut
Shizuka Itou like Yukime
Tomokazu Sugita come Crimson
Kakuma food come Mary
The main staff is returning for the second season at the Nexus studio. The first season of the anime premiered in October 2022 and ended on February 15th.

ASome people just aren’t fit to play the hero flamboyant and forthright or the dastardly villain twirling his mustache with over-the-top panache. Instead, they operate in the shadows and pull the strings of society through wit and intelligence. This is the role that Cid he wants to play when he is transported to another world. Cid spins a thread or three and becomes the unlikely leader of the Shadow Garden clandestine organization battling an ominous cult (which he completely made up). However, there’s one problem that not even his wild imagination has seen coming: the cult he concocted really exists, and they’re beyond sorry that his fantasy of power just thwarted their evil plans!
Kazuya Nakanishi (chief animation director for Darwin’s Game) is directing the anime at Nexus (Darwin’s Game). Makoto Iino (Suppose a Kid From the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town) is adapting the original character designs of Tozai for animation. Kanichi Katou (Black Clover) is overseeing the scripts for the series. Kenichiro Suehiro he is composing the music.
Aizawa began serializing the story on the website “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (We Become Novelists) in May 2018, and Kadokawa began publishing the story in physical volumes with art by Tozai, starting with the first volume in November 2018. Anri Sakano launched the manga adaptation in the magazine Comp Ace Of Kadokawa in December 2018. Seta U launched a spin-off manga titled Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! Shadow Gaiden (The Eminence in Shadow – Shadow Side Story) in Comp Ace a luglio 2019.
