In the absence of less than a week for the celebration of the PlayStation Showcase, where they expect to see new announcements by PlayStation and its main partners of the market, the rumors about the remake of one of the most beloved games of the first Sony console. Dino Crisis could soon have a remake and these are the tests that prove it.
Aside from Resident Evil, between the late 90s and early 2000s, Shinji Mikami and Capcom gave away to fans of survival horror Dino Crisis, a series of games that fans of the genre fell in love with for its mechanics, its charismatic redheaded protagonist and, of course, for fight against dinosaurs with clean shot.
The remake of Dino Crisis closer to being true
Now close to fulfilling 24 years since the original release of Dino Crisis on PlayStation, the Capcom game could be closer than ever to its return. According to a user of the Reddit forums, Shinji Mikami could have shared through his social networks not only that he is working on a remake, but that he would already have a trailer and all.
In this now private Facebook post, Mikami would comment that the trailer of the remake of “Unknown” would have already been finished and that “they are very happy to make a remake of this game“. Finally, he thanks the team for their work, although he does not specify which team exactly.

At the end of this post, Mikami shares the hashtag of the three studios he has worked with throughout his career: Capcom, Platinum Games y Tango Gameworks, so it does not clearly indicate what game it could be. It is one of the comments who points to Dino Crisis for meetings that Mikami would have had with Capcom in the last weeks.
At the moment there is nothing confirmed, but luckily there are only a few days left for the Sony event in which this and other projects could be announced coming soon to PS5 consoles. The one that is sure to be there is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the new from Insomniac Games. Although it goes without saying that at the moment it is not known what platforms this remake could reach, if it comes true, might not be exclusive to PlayStation.
