We already know how long Skeleton Crew will last! The new Star Wars series on Disney + will maintain the tradition of other great programs.
Star Wars has announced the number of Skeleton Crew episodes. The list of this new television program of the galactic saga on Disney + has appeared on the website of the WGA (Writers Guild of America). This listing shows that the first season of the series will consist of eight episodes.
This count of Skeleton Crew episodes is the same as most Star Wars series on Disney+ within the MandoVerso, as all three seasons of The Mandalorian and the soon-to-be-released Ahsoka are eight-episode seasons. The same goes for the High Republic-era series The Acolyte, which is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2024. It all looks great!
What do we know about the new television series of the galactic saga? What are the expectations among viewers?
Disney+
The director of the Spider-Man trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jon Watts, and Christopher Ford have written most of the Skeleton Crew. However, there are exceptions in the Star Wars series. Those two exceptions are episodes 5 and 6 of the Disney+ series, which were written by Myung Joh Wesner. The rest, however, is up to the showrunners and creators.
following another Star Wars Verse Command lore, different directors will be in charge of the different episodes of Skeleton Crew. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheiner (Everything at Once Everywhere), David Lowery (The Green Knight) and Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts). Director Bryce Dallas Howard, a classic among universe-related galactic saga productions orchestrated by our dearest Dave Filoni, is also scheduled to direct an episode. And the same goes for Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), who directed one of the episodes of the third season of The Mandalorian.
