The studio explained that it has been keeping an eye on feedback from the community and critics, so it knows it fell short of expectations. For this reason, he promised improvements to end some errors and technical problems.

“We would like to sincerely apologize for the disappointing experience many of you have had with The Lord of the Rings: Gollum upon its release. We deeply acknowledge and regret that the game did not meet the expectations we set for ourselves or our audience. Please accept our sincere apologies,” the studio explained in a statement.
Daedalic assured that in the studio they are big fans of The Lord of the Rings, so they hoped to deliver an experience that was up to the franchise. They are honored to have been able to work with the series, but they are also disappointed with the results.
“At Daedalic, we understand that the success of a game depends on the enjoyment and satisfaction of its players. We really value your feedback and have been actively listening to your voices, reading your feedback, and considering constructive criticism.”
The company stated that it has been working on multiple improvements to fix errors and technical problems in the title, as its goal is to offer the best possible experience to its players. So he asked for a little more patience from the community to be able to conclude and release an update.
Finally, the study assured that it will be in constant communication with the players, as they want to be transparent with everything related to The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. They promised that in the future they will share more information about the patches on the way.
