According to some rumors, Sony bet on the purchase dand CD Projekt REDa studio renowned for creating the award-winning title The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as well as the controversial AAA project, Cyberpunk 2077. On Twitter, a CD Projekt RED representative denied the rumors that the developer of Cyberpunk 2077 is on the verge of being picked up by Sony. In response to the claims, Ola Sondej of CD Projekt RED he has declared:
We are not in talks with Sony.
This has always seemed like a flimsy rumor not based in reality, since CD Projekt Red it is a publicly traded company and therefore a move like this would be reflected in the stock market, but we now know for sure that such a move is not expected. .
