Depok.suara.com – The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) is ready to hold the 2023 Indonesia Creative Regency/City Network (JEJAKK) Lively event in Semarang, from 19 May to 21 May.
The lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 is designed to encourage initiatives from every district/city that has passed the Indonesian Creative Regency/City Self-Assessment (PMK3I) to hold joint activities as a form of commitment to networking on a national scale.
The event, which is planned to be held regularly every year in various creative districts/cities, is the culmination of the development of the creative district/city program or abbreviated Creative Word.
The Lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 event will be attended by creative economy actors and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from 30 Creative Words that have been determined by the previous government.

These creative economy actors and MSMEs will attend the Lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 event both online and offline.

This grand performance is the result of cooperation between various parties such as the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Provincial Government, Regency/City Government, the community, and stakeholders.
Menparekraf Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno is optimistic that the Lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 will have a positive impact in creating new quality job opportunities.
“I am optimistic that with the development of programs that are right on target, on time, and have the right benefits, such as Creative Word, creative economy actors and MSMEs can find solutions to the problems they face. This will certainly have a positive impact in creating new quality job opportunities!”, said Sandiaga Uno.
Semarang was chosen as the host because Central Java is one of the most active, consistent provinces and shows a real commitment in developing a creative economy ecosystem.

As the capital of Central Java, Semarang is a city that has the potential to bring in both domestic and foreign tourists.
In addition, Semarang has a complete 3A (Attractions, Amenities, Accessibility). This was conveyed by Mas Minister – that is the nickname of Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno – some time ago.
“Semarang has complete 3A (Attractions, Amenities, Accessibility), so that this city is visited by many tourists. Having a very strategic position and presenting extraordinary potential, Semarang deserves to be the host of the 2023 Indonesian Creative JEJAKK Lively event,” said Sandiaga Uno.

The JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 lively event will involve 109 regencies/cities of the Creative Word ecosystem in Semarang and will be enlivened through a series of events such as the Semarang Night Carnival, Orchestral Performances and Performing Arts, Fashion Shows, Indonesian Creative Words Discussion Forums to Bazaars and Product Exhibitions Creative Economy from Creative Words.
Sandiaga Uno added, the Lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 event would be a solution for the creativity of creative economy actors and MSMEs to continue to innovate and collaborate for the revival of the Indonesian economy.
The Lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 event is also a form of proof that Indonesia is ready to hold events at both national and international levels.
It is predicted that there will be 3,000 events that will be held in Indonesia this year, of which the impact value of these events on the economy, both directly and indirectly, is around IDR 160 trillion.
Therefore, the Menparekraf also invites tourism and creative economy actors as well as the community in Semarang and its surroundings, to attend the Lively JEJAKK Creative Indonesia 2023 event directly in the Old Town Area of Semarang. This event is held free of charge and open to the public.
