Unlike the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 sisters, on this new Scrambler we have flat, one-piece saddle. As per Royal tradition, retro elements remain on the bike, such as the indicators and the rear light (which appear to be those of the first HNTR 350 and the second of the Meteor 350). To enrich the equipment of the scrambler there are also several well-chosen details, such as the grille cover of the headlight, a steel skid plate and auxiliary lights positioned under the direction indicators.
Another novelty is the exhaust, which is no longer double as on the twins, but looks like a single unit placed on the right side of the bike, with a small protection plate. The new single exhaust should also help significantly reduce the weight of the bike, as well as give it a more adventure soul.
Royal Enfield headquarters presented the trademark application for the name “Interceptor Bear”, and lets us think that the model is now in the final stages.
