Rebecca Ferguson is currently premiering the Silo series on Apple TV+, in addition, she will return as Ilsa Faust in Mission: Impossible: Death Judgment Part 1 and as Lady Jessica Atreides in Dune: Part Two. She but she will also star in the adaptation of Joe Abercrombie’s The Best Revenge.
This film will be directed by Tim Miller, responsible for Deadpool (2016) and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). The best thing is that Joe Abercrombie himself has been in charge of the script, in addition to the production they will include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger from Skydance, Aaron Ryder and Tim Miller for Blur Studios. For now, the cast only has Rebecca Ferguson, but surely more actors will join the main characters soon.

What is this novel about?
The Best Revenge is the third book in the First Law trilogy written by Joe Abercrombie. The story takes place in a fictional world where violence and political intrigue are commonplace. Although the novel is part of a trilogy, it can be read independently.
The plot centers on Monza Murcatto (Rebecca Ferguson’s character), a mercenary known as the Serpent of Talins and leader of a criminal gang called the Sons of the Revolution. Monza was a powerful and feared woman, until she was betrayed by her companions and left to die. Her brother, Benna, was killed in the same betrayal.
Determined to exact revenge, Monza survives her injuries and embarks on a journey to gather a new group of allies and exact her revenge. Along her path, she meets fascinating characters such as the ruthless pirate Cosca and the brutal warrior Shivers.
Monza and her group face numerous challenges as they seek revenge on those who betrayed her. The story is full of unexpected twists, betrayals and ruthless violence. Abercrombie shows the moral complexity of the characters and examines themes of loyalty, redemption and the search for power.
As the plot progresses, Monza discovers that his revenge may not be as satisfying as he had hoped. The story dives into human nature and questions the motivations and actions of the characters, presenting a gray world where heroes and villains are difficult to distinguish.
