SuaraBandungBarat.id- The General Election Commission (KPU) of West Bandung Regency (KBB) has finally accepted the proposal for prospective legislative candidates (Bacaleg) who will take part in the upcoming 2024 Pileg.
As is known, the KBB KPU has opened registration for the legislative election since 1 May 2023 and will end on 14 May 2023 at 23.59 WIB.
The chairman of the KBB KPU, Adie Saputro said, currently the KBB KPU has finally accepted the application for registration for the first legislative election, namely the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).
“KBB KPU today, Monday 8 May 2023 at 14.00 WIB received the application for a legislative candidate from the West Bandung Prosperous Justice Party (PKS),” he said, Monday (8/5/2023).

He added, the party numbered 8 had registered as many as 50 legislative candidates for the KBB DPRD which would take part in the legislative election contest in 2024.
“For the 2024 legislative elections, PKS has proposed 50 legislative candidates. Of the 50 candidates, 15 of them are representatives of women,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Implementation Technical Division, KBB KPU, Rifqi Ahmad Sulaeman explained, PKS as a political party participating in the 2024 Election had proposed the first KBB level legislative election.
“That’s right, PKS is the party that proposed the legislative election this afternoon at 14.00 WIB,” he said.
He said that so far the requirements for the submission and administration of the PKS legislative election were complete and the administrative status had been accepted.

“In fact, after completing the filing ceremony and waiting for a while to check completeness, we immediately gave the minutes of receipt,” he said.
He further said, based on the deadline for applying for legislative candidates on May 14, 2023 at 23.59 WIB, it means that there are only six days left to submit applications for registration.
“This is an opportunity for the political parties participating in the election to propose or register their legislative candidates,” he said.
He emphasized that until now, there are 17 political parties participating in the 2024 election that have not submitted their registration for legislative candidates to participate in the upcoming 2024 legislative election.
“Most of the political parties have filled out the proposed submission schedule. Hopefully this 6 days is enough and effective, so no political parties are late,” he concluded.
