The Kings League was born just a few months ago as a project by Gerard Piqué, a seven-a-side soccer league led by popular streamers like Ibai Llanos and by old glories of professional soccer, broadcast openly through Twitch.
But it will no longer be just an internet phenomenon: Mediaset Spain has signed with Kosmos (Piqué’s company) the emission rights from Kings League Infojobs and the new Queens League Oysho.
The matches will be broadcast openly, on the chain Fourat the same time as in Twitchstarting this week with the second Kings League split and the first season of the Queens League.

Mediaset clarifies some important details that the public that watches these matches through Cuatro should consider, including “joker cards” that can double the value of their goals, as if they were Mario Strikers.
If it ends in a tie, the match is resolved with a round of five penalties for each team in which a player faces the goalkeeper from midfield in a ‘one on one’ game and has five seconds to score a goal. Only if the goalkeeper touches the ball, the penalty is considered saved. For the kick-off, each team stands in their goal and after the whistle, the players run for the ball to get it first. The yellow card implies the expulsion of the player for two minutes and the red one for five minutes. Each team has several ‘cards’ and they randomly choose one in each match that gives them an advantage, such as taking a penalty, removing an opponent player from the field for two minutes, stealing the card from the opposing team, doubling the value of their goals for two minutes and use a joker to change the card they have been dealt. Each game also includes a surprise novelty.
This soccer seven, with a lot of spectacle, also has special guests, and in each game the teams can invite a player on each day. Ronaldinho, Javier Saviola, Chicharito Hernández and Kun Agüero They have been some of those who have played in the first season…
Last March, in the final of the first split of the Kings League, the immense Camp Nou “sold out” and gathered two million viewers around the world on Twitch (in addition to being broadcast on TV3).
From now on, the Kings League y Queens League It will also be broadcast free on traditional television every Saturday and Sunday through Four.
