The actor recently turned filmmaker earned much critical acclaim for his work on Barbarianwhich marked his directorial debut in a feature film.
Weapons was first announced in January 2023, after New Line Cinema successfully obtained the rights to the drama from terror in a bidding war against several major studios and streaming platforms.
Zach Cregger’s next film will also be produced by Cregger, Roy Lee and Miri Yoon for Vertigo, and Raphael Margules for BoulderLight Pictures.
