Suara.com – Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka was summoned by the PDI-P DPP on Monday (22/5/2023) yesterday after accompanying the general chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, to meet volunteers. Reportedly, Gibran received a reprimand from the PDIP DPP because he accompanied Prabowo in Solo.
In fact, previously Gibran emphasized that he had never chatted about the decisions of the volunteers who were pursing their support for Prabowo.
However, Gibran is not the only cadre who has received a warning from the PDIP DPP. Take a look at the following PDIP cadres who have received warnings besides Gibran Rakabuming.
Ganjar Pranowo (Central Java Voice)
Long before Gibran, Ganjar Pranowo had received a verbal warning from the PDI-P because of his statement that he was ready to run for president. At that time, Ganjar had stated his readiness to run for president on October 18, 2022.

However, a few days later Ganjar changed his statement. He said the decision regarding the presidential candidate was the full authority of PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.
After being summoned by the PDIP DPP, Ganjar conveyed the warning as a correction for his public communication. He also said that the verbal warning sanctions were part of cadre discipline. However, when asked about the statement “ready for president”, Ganjar said that as a cadre he was ready to be assigned by the party.
Even though he was reprimanded for his presidential election statement, Megawati Soekarnoputri was finally declared the presidential candidate of the PDIP on April 21, 2023. However, until now it is still unknown who the vice presidential candidate will accompany Ganjar for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
2. FX Rudy

The chairman of the PDIP Solo DPC, FX Hadi Rudyatmo, was also reprimanded by the PDIP DPP because he was considered to have spread information about Ganjar having been appointed by Megawati Soekarnoputri as a presidential candidate. The man who is familiarly called FX Rudy admitted that he had never shared this information, but the Secretary General of the PDIP DPP, Hasto Kristiyanto, gave him a warning.
“I’m not going to say it’s definitely Ganjar. It’s impossible, I’m going to (prepare) Ms. Mega. I’m sorry,” said Rudy on 12 April 2023 before Megawati’s declaration of Ganjar.

Apart from the reprimand, Rudy also admitted that he was asked to make a written statement to Megawati that he had never shared this information. Rudy was ready to do that because he had never disseminated information about Megawati’s choice of Ganjar.
3. Gibran Rakabuming

Gibran reportedly received a reprimand from the PDIP DPP because he accompanied Prabowo to meet volunteers. However, the eldest son of President Jokowi said that the meeting which took place in Solo on Friday (19/5/2023) evening was only for dinner. He also made sure he was not involved in speeches by volunteers.
It is known that Gibran and Jokowi volunteers from Central Java and East Java officially supported Prabowo as the 2024 presidential candidate. This was conveyed directly by the volunteers when they met Prabowo in person. At that time Gibran accompanied Prabowo to meet volunteers at Omah Semar.
Meanwhile, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that Gibran’s summons was not a warning. He said the PDIP only gave advice to Gibran because he is a young PDIP cadre who still needs guidance.
At the same time Hasto dismissed the notion that Gibran’s action accompanying Prabowo to meet his volunteers in Solo was a political dance. He explained that Gibran had explained comprehensively about his meeting with Prabowo. Clarification and apology have also been delivered by Gibran.
