It feels a bit like a slap on the nose for the organization of Dauwpop, that paper cup in which the public is served the beer, cola and orange juice at the pop festival on 2 and 3 June in Hellendoorn. The paper cup was recently presented with great fanfare as the standard for all festivals and events in the coming years. Because plastic cups are banned because of the environment. But unfortunately, the much praised paper cup from Dauwpop turns out not to be completely plastic-free. “That is something to swallow”, admits Rob Telgenkamp of Dauwpop.
