The Provincial Executive wants special investigating officers (boas) who work for the Province of Overijssel to receive weapons. These are boas that mainly carry out inspections in Natura2000 areas and on the water. Because they work in remote areas, they often arrive earlier than police officers. Now these enforcers are still walking around without a baton, pepper spray and handcuffs.
