The Milanese architect bought Armando Maradona’s vespa and decided to travel to Naples to pay him homage

The Vespa in question is, as mentioned above, a T5, the “sport” model of the PX. Maradona bought it in 1986 and kept it for a few years since, by contract, Napoli Calcio forbade its registered players to use motorcycles, this logically to avoid various injuries. The Vespa was later sold to a private individual in Naples and now belongs to Corrado.
The Milanese collector has already been traveling since yesterday and is expected to arrive tomorrow at the Napoli stadium where the fans and the local Vespa clubs will be waiting for him. The words of Lopresto reported by Corriere della Sera: “I’ve had this Vespa for six years, I found it by chance from a dealer in the Modena area to whom I had turned to buy Gianni Agnelli’s Panda 4X4. In his workshop he had many interesting vehicles, including a Ministerial Theme by Umberto Agnelli, and, behind this, almost hidden, Maradona’s Vespa emerges. I didn’t think about it for a moment and after a brief negotiation I bought the Vespa together with Agnelli’s Panda.”
