The coach had defined the Monza-Roma referee as “the poorest I’ve ever met in my career”. He could get away with a fine in the event of a plea deal. The club was also referred for strict liability
Not only Gloria, not only Budapest. This morning the federal prosecutor, Giuseppe Chinè, referred José Mourinho for the statements against the referee Chiffi after the championship match against Monza. In addition to having referred the “poor” match director, the coach foreshadowed the fact that some clubs choose their own referees. Among other things, he had also said that he had recorded the conversations with the match officials “to protect himself”. Mourinho, already recidivist, could bargain and get a fine.
