About twenty years ago, a type of helmet that had never been seen before began to spread but which really brought new air to the segment: it featured metal mesh inserts or at least some on the outer shell loopholes that functioned as ventilation outlets. At about the same time, mesh panels also began to appear in clothing, more often on jackets, less often on trousers. Those first airy garments ushered in the “seasonal” biker’s wardrobe, or rather no more garments that, for better or worse, had to face all climates but, finally, designed for the one of the moment. And summer, the heat, as we know, is still a stumbling block for those who want to protect themselves as well as have fun on their motorbikes. After the exploits of the early 2000s, which made us think there would be a bipartition of the market: on one side the all-season and on the other the ventilated, the phenomenon has reduced and now it happens that periodically a product designed specifically for the summer appears on the market.
Among these it breaks through the new Nolan N30-4 Ta jet with a Lexan™ Polycarbonate shell contraddistinto dall’ Extreme Ventilation System (EVS), the result of a series of fluid dynamic tests aimed at exacerbating ventilation, while guaranteeing maximum protection. In a second moment the “perforated” inserts were designed, those celestial grilles you see in the picture, inspired by the Voronoi diagram, which become the essence of the product. The concept of this jet speaks of “ventilation around the helmet”, obviously “…in compliance with the Nolan approach to safety”. In short, the result is a light and solid product at the same time, equipped with interiors in “Clima Comfort” fabric with eco-sustainable fabric, visor with goggle cut, cover cap resistant to water and air (optional: 31 euros), micrometric closure. The N30-4T is offered in 4 graphics (Blazer, Parkour, Uncharted ed Inception: tutte vendute a 229,99 euro apart from the latter, available to 219,99 euro) and six single-color variants (glossy black, flat black, metal white, zephyr white, slate gray and flat vulcan gray; all sold for €199.99). To conclude the N30-4 is also available in the modular versions XP, TP, VP with removable chin guard (see photo alongside; prices from 239 to 289 euros).
