Heracles Almelo became champion of the Kitchen Champion Division on Friday. The team of coach John Lammers won 2-0 against Jong Ajax at home. Competitor PEC Zwolle also won, 3-2 at Helmond Sport, but ended behind Heracles on the basis of a worse goal difference. The players and staff of the club from Zwolle were festively honored on Saturday evening.
