SUARA SOREANG – PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir is reportedly looking for a new Technical Director for PSSI.
PSSI will look for a Technical Director from abroad to replace Indra Sjafri’s position.
This was done by PSSI in order to realize its ideals of advancing Indonesian football.
The general chairman (Ketum), Erick Thohir, indicated that the foreign directors would come from Germany or Japan.

“Yes, (from abroad). One of the things that I have talked to Japan about is we will work together regarding league standards and referees,” Erick told the media crew at SUGBK, Friday (19/5/2023).
“With Germany, they will also sign for standardization of the league and also one of them is looking for the Director of Technology,” he continued later.
As is known, Indra Sjafri changed positions after bringing the U-22 Indonesian National Team to a gold medal in the 2023 SEA Games.
Initially, Indra was only a temporary coach alias caretaker at the U-22 Indonesian National Team.
