The two riders were in the top positions when they collided and crashed. Then in the gravel also the anger and the instinctive reaction of the Spaniard who took it out on the Italian and the return in three on the scooter. Their words

The result is that we are here lost two protagonists, one of the two even injured his ankle (Bagnaia). The consideration, quite unique, is that he was a racing accident between two drivers who are always correct.
After they touched on lap four I’m sorry Bagnaia e Maverick Vinales ended up on the ground in a rather violent way, with the Aprilia rider who had to dodge the wall and the Italian who twisted his right ankle (the dynamics of the accident are told here, the link for the video of the accident is at the bottom of this article).
Then Vinales, with the adrenaline a thousand, went to rail against Bagnaia. An unexpected scene between them. The anger lasted bit because five minutes later they were together on the scooter, in three with the driver, to return to the garage. They even shook hands in the paddock.
But let’s hear their versions of the incident, released to Sky.
Vinales
A first analysis on him and Pecco…
“What we know for sure is that he is fair play riders, but I think that in these races we have to calm down a bit otherwise no one gets to the end of the season. Taking zero points when today we could have gone on to win, it’s tough”
On the altercation with Bagnaia on the gravel…
“The adrenaline is high there, I’m not saying it because of Pecco, but many riders need to calm down a bit, we are the example for Moto3. I got really pissed because I felt I could go on to win, it was hard to accept that we hit the ground, but as I said before both Pecco and I are pretty clean riders”
More about the incident…
“I passed Pecco perhaps too cleanly and went a tad wide, then I changed direction and found Pecco, I thought he would leave me a little more space and we touched, you saw the rest”
Is there a manager?
“It’s hard to figure out if someone is responsible, the only thing is that he could have left me a little more space. I didn’t see him, then I think he touched the front brake and I couldn’t do anything, I wanted to stay attached to the bike, but the wall was too close”
Bagnaia
Bagnaia on the consequences of the fall…
“It looks like a sprained ankle, nothing serious”
About the incident…
“We were taking a slow pace, we weren’t pushing hard, we were managing and maybe I made a mistake, I had to get in front. That’s how it went. I was keeping the margin, managing”
Still…
“It was a racing accident, it was avoidable, we crossed paths”
Two right trajectories meeting at the wrong point?
“Yes”
On Vinales’ reaction…
“I didn’t like his reaction but at the moment he’s okay with it, then I saw him on foot and I asked the one on the scooter to take him with us”
(il VIDEO of the accident is visible here, while the interview of Zam a Pecco is here).
