Will Conan the Barbarian be a fighter in the new Mortal Kombat?
Windows Central Editor Jez Corden spoke again about the upcoming Mortal Kombat and what it might offer in the way of guest characters. He reaffirmed the reports about the presence of Peacemaker and Homelander, but added that Conan the Barbarian is probably part of the roster as well.
This popular character has already had a certain presence in the franchise, as Mortal Kombat 11 received a skin for Kotal Kahn that is inspired by said warrior. According to reports, Conan the Barbarian would now be a character as such for the next installment.
It’s important to note that NetherRealm Studios hasn’t confirmed any guest characters for their upcoming game, so this should be considered a mere rumor. Despite this, some fans believe that Conan the Barbarian would be a good fit for the franchise’s bloody combat.
Corden assured that he has heard details about the arrival of this character to the roster, but that he is not sure if the game will feature the classic version of the character or that of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“There are also a few other characters that I know. I heard that Conan the Barbarian could be a character. I don’t know if he’s the Arnold Schwarzenegger version or just the book version,” Corden stated.
