“Because inline skating is a wonderful way to get moving,” says Jurre Trouw, sports participation manager at the KNSB. “You just leave home, put on your skates, find the asphalt, drive into the polder or a park and work on your health. Skating is not only good for your condition, you also work on strength and coordination. But make sure that you are well prepared: put on a helmet and at least put on wrist guards, so that you can really enjoy yourself.”
