Nationally, last year the police received a record number of reports of nuisance caused by people with confused behaviour. To illustrate: in 2022 there were 138,000 reports, in 2014 there were about 60,000. According to the police, the exact cause of the increase has yet to be investigated, although a police spokesman does mention a number of possible factors that are responsible for the increase.
