Dinosaur Polo Clubthe team behind Mini Metro e Mini Motorwaysminimalist strategy traffic management simulator with almost 12 million combined players, celebrates its “Miniversary” of 10 years con six crossover maps and new features coming out on Monday July 24, 2023. The community expressed their preference for the 30 Mini Metro maps they would like to see transferred to Mini Motorways. Eventually, the vote was narrowed down to four cities: London, New York, Paris and Hong Kong. After a heated vote among community members, New York City has been crowned to be part of the crossover map roster coming to Mini Motorways.
The cities of London and Mumbai will also line up for a new layer of roundabouts and highways in Mini Motorways. The maps of are coming in Mini Metro Tokyo, Warsaw and Lisbon, with adaptable rail systems and new challenges.
In addition to these new urban play areas, Mini Motorways will also welcome a highly requested feature to its three new maps: and rub.
Dinosaur Polo Club celebrates its 10th anniversary since it first dived into the world of Mini during a Game Giving Game Jamwhere Mini Metro was created in its first iteration in 2013. The recent community vote provided an opportunity to reflect on the past decade of working alongside such passionate gamers. Based in beautiful Wellington, New Zealand, Dinosaur Polo Club was founded by brothers Peter e Robert Curry with the mission to create games that present simple and everyday concepts, designed for everyone.
Mini Metro (here our review) has turned into an ai-nominated project BAFTA and generated enough momentum for a sequel, Mini Motorways, which garnered the same critical acclaim and accolades, including theIndieCade Choice Award and theIndependent Games Festival Audience Award in 2022.
