The increase of a member of the Rossoneri board of directors has been launched with the entry of the CEO of Brunello Cucinelli Spa. The appointment as director of the president of the Yankees Levine has also been ratified
Field issues and not only at Milan, with the Rossoneri club divided between the approach to the decisive away match in La Spezia and above all the return Euroderby with Inter, in the semifinals of the Champions League. The Rossoneri shareholders’ meeting was held today at 3 pm, as per the regular call held two weeks ago. A technical Board meeting, served for some changes to the corporate structure, exclusively by videoconference on Zoom.
LEVINE ADMINISTRATOR
—
Among the items on the agenda, the appointment of Randy Lewis Levine to the position of director of the company. With the 67-year-old president of the Yankees, the Rossoneri board has added an institution of American sport to its organizational chart at a managerial level, in full harmony with the owners’ objectives. Under Levine’s leadership, the New York franchise has achieved great sporting goals, with a significant leap in quality from an economic point of view (becoming one of the most recognizable sports brands in the world). Levine is linked to Gerry Cardinale by various economic interests, but also by an important friendship born when the founder of RedBird – after his experience in Goldman Sachs – had approached the world of sport and the Yankees, with the investment of the fund New Yorker in the Yes Network (the most important regional sports television, founded by the group at the head of the franchise).
EXPANSION OF THE BOD
—
Today’s meeting was also used for the increase of a member of the Board, in orbit of RedBird: it is Riccardo Stefanelli, CEO of Brunello Cucinelli Spa, a well-known Italian fashion house. During the discussion, the Associazione Piccoli Azionisti (APA) had also asked to include one of its members on the Board of Directors, but the request was denied.
