Microsoft continues to build its gaming ecosystem and regardless of what the regulators say, the Xbox company is willing to meet its commitments. Before all the controversy, the opposition and the blocking of the CMA, it was assumed that the acquisition of Activision Blizzard King would be approved in the summer of this year, but it will not. However, this does not mean that the 10-year contracts signed with distributors and owners of cloud platforms are in limbo. The cycle just started with Nvidia and in a few days the same will happen with Boosteroid.

Boosteroid will start its 10-year agreement with Microsoft in a few days
Boosteroid, a cloud gaming service, revealed through its Twitter account that everything is ready to start with the 10-year agreement it signed with Microsoft to bring Xbox Game Studios video games to its platform. According to the information, it will be on June 1 that the period of a decade begins and Boosteroid subscribers will be able to play Gears 5, DEATHLOOP, Grounded and Pentiment, the same video games that are already available on Nvidia GeForce Now.
Big news! Great games from Xbox and Bethesda – Deathloop, Grounded, Gears 5, Pentiment to be released on Boosteroid on June 1, playable across platforms, including a smart TV without a console! Boosteroid was one of the platforms that raised its voice when the CMA blocked the acquisition, as it assured that there was no other way to have Activision Blizzard’s video games in its catalog, considering that the regulator was closing business and growth options. For obvious reasons, this hasn’t happened yet, but Microsoft has taken the plunge with what it has at the moment, which are its own franchises and the ones it acquired from Bethesda.
The 10-year agreements on other platforms with which Microsoft signed are expected to begin in the coming months, this while the purchase of Activision approaches a good port. The European Commission recently approved the purchase and the Chinese regulator as well, so the only obstacles left in the way are the British regulator and the US FTC.
