Back to the Future 4? The science fiction saga of the 80s has a golden opportunity in Michael J Fox, and the actor causes madness.
Michael J Fox has set off alarm bells with Back to the Future 4. The legendary actor playing Marty McFly in the beloved 1980s saga has spoken about the possibility of a reboot or sequel. However, despite the uproar, he has been very candid. From his point of view, history should stay in the past. It is where it is best, and it is not necessary to rescue it through nostalgia.
In an interview with Variety, Michael J Fox stated that the possibility of making Back to the Future 4 or a reboot of the franchise would not make sense without the original cast or original franchise director Robert Zemeckis or screenwriter Bob Gale. “I don’t think it’s necessary,” said the actor emphatically, skipping all the alerts. “I think Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale have been very smart in that regard. I don’t think it’s necessary to restart the saga because… Are you going to clarify something? Will you find a better way to tell the story? I highly doubt it.” However, the movie legend added that he would be fine with a reboot if Hollywood decided to take that step and go down that path. “I’m not a fan,” the Marty McFly actor admitted. “Do what you want. It’s your movie. They already paid me.”
Parkinson’s ended the possibility of continuation…

Michael J Fox also added that he has not been formally proposed to do Back to the Future 4. That is, that option was never on the table. However, if he was asked to do a fourth installment, his health and his current battle with Parkinson’s disease would not allow him to carry it out. “I’m sure someone thought of it,” the actor admitted. “But I was in the early stages of Parkinson’s at the time. So I don’t know if I would have wanted to accept it.” Right after the third installment did well, there might have been talks about it. But I never got involved in them.”
