“MasterChef Celebrity México” had a new expelled and this time it was the turn of the influencer nigris ponchobecause for the chefs, the man from Monterrey did not carry out a gourmet preparation, as required by the challenge.
In this chapter the theme of the program was budgets so the first challenge was to make a dish that did not exceed 20 pesos. The second challenge consisted of a preparation with expensive ingredients: black truffle, escamoles, potterhouse, caviar, rack of lamb, foie gras, and lobster.
At the end it was when several went up to the balcony and only those who went directly to the elimination challenge where they had to get ingredients from a cost no more than 200 pesos.
The leader Zahie Tellez indicated “We want to see if they are capable of managing their own budget,” while chef Adrián added that they would enter the market to buy the necessary ingredients as long as they did not exceed the established budget.

“When you return from the market we will review the sum total of all your ingredients, use the 200 pesos wisely, remember that there is a fine line between the success of a restaurant and its bankruptcy,” said chef Poncho Cadena.
The competing participants were Alma Gómez Fuentes “Cositas” and Poncho de Nigris. Upon entering the market, Poncho selected eggs, garlic, tomatoes, onion, butter, lard, Manchego cheese, and chili, the total of which was 140 pesos. The actor showed great optimism when he was questioned about his purchases, however the result was not as expected.
The influencer’s dish consisted of eggs with excess salt bacon, accompanied by some quesadillas, which led him to say goodbye to the competition that he came to believe he would win.
“His two dishes were very unfortunate with very marked and very evident imbalances, good intentions are not good to keep us in ‘MasterChef’,” said chef Herrera.
After debating to select the celebrity that would retire from the program, chef Herrera assured that both the results of “Cositas” and Poncho were “two chilling proposals”. Finally they concluded that Poncho was the one who had to retire from the MasterChef kitchen.
De Nigris commented “I made the mistake and I made my dish wrong”, while he told the three jurors: “Thanks to the chefs for all their advice, I had a great time, see you in Monterrey.”

“We leave with our heads held high, dad, thanks to everyone, pure good vibes. Never underestimate a person who has nothing to lose because when they lost everything, they also lost their fear, cheer up,” were the words said by the influencer before retiring from the most famous kitchen in the country.
Before saying goodbye, de Nigris said goodbye to his colleagues with a hug, including “Cositas” who discussed leaving the reality show with the actor and model and with whom he had worked as a team on that broadcast.
Together they prepared a rack of lamb and ratatouille, whose sauce lacked seasoning -according to the evaluation of the and the judges-, for which they did not go up to the balcony, but it was in this block where the ex-Big Brother broke down in front of the cameras, in the confessional.
