The most recent volume of the Avengers comic (2023), shows how Captain Marvel has been chosen as the leader of an amazing new team of Avengers in the Marvel Universe.
In said team, Danvers brings together various heroesamong which are: Captain America, the Scarlet Witch, Vision, Thor, Iron Man and Black Panther, whom the comic describes as “The Icon, The Witch, The Construct, The God, The Engineer and The King” .
Regarding the “Engineer”, Iron Man, has become the sponsor of Captain Marvelthe new leader of the amazing team of Avengers that will soon unfold in the Marvel Universe.
Carol Danvers makes it clear that requires Tony Stark’s support, just as he needs hers. The new leader of the Avengers assures that she wants Tony to be her right hand in this new responsibility that she has assumed.
You will surely ask yourself: what is the reason for this union and alliance between Carol and Tony? And it is very likely that this great bond is due to the support that they have meant for each other in his fight against his addiction to alcoholwhich is the weakness they have in common.
