Warner continues to bet on pink and launches a new trailer for Barbie, Greta Gerwig’s promising film about the iconic Mattel doll.
We’ve all known for a long time that Barbie is not going to be a normal movie. The mere cast that has accumulated the film of Greta Gerwig (Little Women) is already pointing out ways, but the focus that she and Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story), raises the stakes, a lot.
At Warner Bros. Pictures they are very aware of this, and have just released the main trailer for the film, with Margot Robbie unleashed as the iconic doll that has become a cultural symbol with the stamp of Mattel.

When Margott Robbie’s Barbie begins to look out of place in Barbieland, she is “banished” into the real world, where she must find herself. Luckily, Ken will be there to accompany her on this new adventure.

As we can guess from the new trailer, which you will find at the top of this article, both worlds are not made to coexist.
The cast of Barbie is one of the mainstays of the film. Margot Robbie joins Ryan Gosling like Ken, but we will also find stars like Emma Mackey, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Kate McKinnon, Helen Mirren, Alexandra Shipp, John Cena o Will Ferrell.
Well discussed is the anticipated box office rivalry between Barbie and a wildly different film, Oppenheimer. Both have spectacular casts and an enormous capacity to attract the public to theaters in the middle of summer. Regardless of which of the two wins the race, viewers will be in for a treat.
Warner Bros. Pictures will release Barbie in Spanish movie theaters next July 21, 2023. Wear sunglasses, because the most garish pink will invade the screen.
