Alongside the video shot from the Fornace Zarattini industrial area in Ravenna, the former pilot from Romagna dedicates a thought to his city: “His minutes are numbered. My thoughts are fixed on Romagna with all of you who are there… I am sure the spirit of survival will push you to do incredible things..
Thank you to everyone who jumped into the fray to help others.”
Ravenna is the city most affected by the floodwith 6 of the 14 victims of a tragedy that counts 10,000 evacuated, 19,000 without electricity and 42 municipalities flooded, as well as 250 roads closed due to landslides.
The emergency continues, with several impending floods and several rivers under special observation.
