Suara.com – Manchester United (MU) manager Erik ten Hag revealed that striker Marcus Rashford is doubtful to appear against Wolves in Week 36 of the Premier League at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester, Saturday (13/5).
Quoted from Sky Sports, Friday, Ten Hag explained that the English player had an injury so he was not sure whether Rashford could play or not.
The Dutch coach added that, despite being threatened with losing Rashford, Manchester United’s back line has received additional strength because Raphael Varane has been able to return.
“Raphael Varane is back, Marcus Rashford is doubtful. He has a problem, an injury, so he is in a big question mark for (Saturday), but we are happy that Varane is back,” said Ten Hag.

Rashford is known to have featured for 90 minutes in Manchester United’s last match against West Ham, while Raphael Varane picked up a foot injury during the Red Devils’ 2-2 draw in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final against Sevilla.
Manchester United are now ambitious to get back to winning ways after losing to Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham in their previous two matches in the Premier League.
It is recorded that The Red Devils are competing to secure the top four positions at the end of the season and now they are in fourth place in the Premier League standings.
Erik ten Hag’s squad have so far collected 63 points from 34 matches, two points adrift of Newcastle United who finished third and one point different from Liverpool who occupied fifth position.
Therefore, Manchester United certainly must win to continue to maintain their hopes of finishing in the Champions League zone.
