Disney+’s Upfronts 2023 presentation in New York City was the place to be as Kevin Feige, producer, creative director and president of Marvel Studios, offered details of the three upcoming superhero series for the streaming platform. First of all, Secret Invasion was shown in exclusive images of the event, recalling its arrival on June 21. The surprise came later with the announcement of the Loki 2 and Echo release dates.
The second season of Loki will arrive on Disney+ on October 6, 2023 to continue the story immediately where season 1 ended. Its protagonist, Tom Hiddleston, anticipated at the 2022 D23 Expo that Loki, Marvel’s most important God, will find himself in a familiar, but strange place. “Loki is back on TVA, he’s had a very difficult matchup with Sylvie, and Mobius and Hunter B-15 don’t know who he is.”
While Loki will premiere on Fridays of each week, moving away from the typical Wednesday premiere, Echo has surprised even more by announcing that will premiere its full season on November 29, 2023, so all your episodes will be available at once. It should be remembered that this new series tells the origin story of Maya López, a character we met in the Hawkeye series.
In Echo, the protagonist must face her past, reconnect with your native american roots and to embrace the meaning of family and community if he ever hopes to move on when his ruthless behavior catches up with him in New York City.
