The creator of the popular podcast The Wild Project is seriously considering leaving YouTube, the platform on which he has developed his entire career as a content creator.
Not all content creators are on Twitch. It is true that the Amazon platform has taken a few, such as Ibai, ElRubius, Auronplay, TheGrefg or ElXokas, but others remain faithful to the platform that saw the birth of this phenomenon: YouTube.
Perhaps the youngest of the place do not know it, but the streamer movement was born in 2010, with the first videos of Rubius, WillyRex, Vegeta777 or Auron himself.
Among all those streamers, there is one who has managed to carve out a great reputation for his more adult tone. It is none other than Jordi Wildwho is also the creator of the famous podcast The Wild Project.
He has even published some books. Jordi Wild speaks without mincing words, as has already happened with Hogwarts Legacy, or affirming that Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars installment.
Well then, the idyll between Jordi Wild and YouTube could be close to ending. The Catalan streamer has exploded on social networks, and acknowledges that he values leaving YouTube.
Twitch or Kick? Jordi Wild’s dilemma
Two months ago, Jordi Wild opened up in a new installment of The Wild Project. He had no qualms about saying that YouTube has never supported him, neither in the form of a contract, nor when it comes to popularizing their videos.
Jordi is used to treating trickier topics (Living on the street, drugs or Nazism are some examples), but even when talking about kinder things, he is not able to escape YouTube.
Yesterday, Jordi exploded with a tweet that will bring a tail. In this tweet, he assures that he seriously considers leaving YouTube, since the problems with the Google platform are constant.
Many of his videos take time to process, or simply stop processing. On other occasions, Jordi sees how your videos are ”in yellow” (unfavorable or pending review)regardless of the topic discussed.
One way or another, what Jordi Wild means is that YouTube has tagged him, which explains why all his videos end in yellow. It’s more than enough to value a changeunless YouTube does something.
In the same tweet, Jordi asks his followers about the platform to which he should migrate. Most of them mention Twitch, Amazon’s great streaming platform.
It is a very real possibility, since in Twitch all the great content creators in the world congregate. However, maybe Kick lurk…
The even Twitter. A follower recommends Jordi Wild to bet on uploading videos on the social network, since they have now been extended to two hours in length. Who knows.
Do you think that Jordi Wild will leave YouTube for Twitch? It’s hard to think about it, but it’s common in today’s entertainment industry, especially if the Catalan isn’t happy on YouTube. Be that as it may, we are waiting for more programs from The Wild Project.
