Jeremy Alcoba makes no concessions
The QJMOTOR Gresini Racing Moto2 Team is still in Jerez, a bitter day for Jeremy Alcoba, who after Sunday’s complicated race tries some modifications to the bike, but still can’t find the perfect feeling. A crash in turn 11 ended this bad day, fortunately without consequences for the driver.
“Unfortunately, this day of testing didn’t go exactly as I had hoped. In the race the feeling wasn’t optimal so today we planned to try several things, which however didn’t give me the sensations I was looking for – said Alcoba -. I expected more both from myself and from the feeling with the bike.During the last session we decided to try a new fork, with which Filip got on well the first session, but unfortunately I crashed at turn 11, fortunately without consequences for me. We go home with a bit of disappointment, but with our thoughts already on Le Mans, ready to work: another race means another opportunity for us to improve.”
