Players have been asking for a port of Bloodborne for PlayStation 5 and PC for years; however, the popular game still remains a PlayStation 4 exclusive. We’ve had plenty of rumors about its possible return and reports are back that a PlayStation Showcase seems imminent.
David Jaffe, creator of God of War, spoke precisely about the possible event during a recent broadcast. The creative excited fans dreaming of a Bloodborne port, as he suggested something is on the way.

Is a Bloodborne port on the way? This Said David Jaffe
Jaffe talked about his expectations for the next PlayStation Showcase which, according to rumors, should not be that far away. He knows that fans are dying for something else about Bloodborne, so he revealed what he’s heard about his possible return.
The creative believes that a sequel is unlikely, so he ruled it out completely. However, he believes that it is a matter of time before the original game returns in some form. He isn’t sure if it will be a remaster or a PC version, but he emphasized that he knows something is in the works.
“I loved that game, man. I don’t know if it’s a remaster, I don’t know if it’s just a PC version, but we know it’s in development. But when will they show it? (…) I don’t think Bloodborne 2 is in development,” Jaffe said during a stream.
Due to his statements, fans are now hopeful and believe that the project as such could be part of the next PlayStation Showcase, but it is pure speculation.
Various sources have ensured that a version for PS5 and PC is possible; however, PlayStation has simply given no hint that the project is actually in active development.
